SAMI-CO2 100 & 1500

The SAMI-CO2 100 and 1500 are the standard moored version of the instrument. The only difference between the two instruments is the housing and consequent deployable depth. Both measure pCO2 in water over a range of 0-2000 µatm with a precision of ~ 1 µatm @ 360 µ atm. It has the following features:

 

• Excellent long term stability and sensitivity with virtually no drift.
• 100 version has PVC housing - deployable to 100 m depth
• 1500 version has anodized aluminum housing - deployable to 1500 m depth
• Capable of hourly measurements for up to one year's duration.
• Typically deployed in 316 stainless mooring cage sold by Sunburst.
• Support external instruments (e.g. PAR, Fluor, O2 sensors)
